• Download Quessence installer from here
  • Plug in Quessence board to PC using USB cable.
  • Run the installer as administrator
  • Please ensure that your PC has internet connectivity.
  • You would see the following wizard. Click Next

  • Please select the path where you want the directory to be created and click OK.

  • Since you don't have both keil and drivers installed in your PC, the fields are mandatory. You cannot unselect the buttons.
  • Sample Applications is of your choice, you can install the sample applications now or in future you can re-run the installer to install only the sample applications. At that time the drivers and keil will be of your choice. You can re-install or neglect.
  • And click Next.

  • The installer would first install the cmsis dap drivers on to your PC. On successful installation the below shown pop up will be visible. Click Finish.

  • Next comes the "Terms and Privacy page". Please select "I accept...." and click Next.

  • You will be asked for the directory where you install the samples applications. Browse your path and click Next.

  • After the driver and sample applications are installed. The installers asks for the path where the keil ARM libraries should be installed. Please browse your path and click Next.

  • Please select "I agree ... " in the License Agreement page and click Next to see the keil IDE installing in your PC.

  • In between the installing process, you will be asked to enter your details. Please enter correct details and click Next.
  • Please click on "Retain current uVision configuration" and click Next.

  • The ARM libraries will be installing. Meanwhile you will also see pack installer window that gets pop up. Packs get refreshed and updates are visible.  You can install or update the packs of your choice. Click Next.

  • If all the installations are done successfully you will see the below screen.

  • Go to C:QueSSenceUtilities and double click 'Redpine.RS14100_DFP.1.0.0' file to install device pack.
  • Now Power on reset the device to see the device getting detected as mbed serial port with COM port number.

  • Now you are ready to load the applications into the device.
